The worker bees have been busy here at Fidel over the past 6 months full steam ahead to make card linking more accessible. We have now gone live with our first clients since launching the API in November and are pleased to present some significant enhancements. So here it is!

Merchant consent webhook ❌ ✅

This fantastic new webhook allows your systems to be updated when the status of a brand consent changes. Rather than waiting for an update or logging into your dashboard account, you can now be notified as soon as the Fidel team is!

PCI Compliance level 1 👮‍

Now that Fidel is driving scale in several markets the need to increase security has been paramount. Being a card-linking API, this is vital to the core service and we are pleased to say we are now certified as of March this year!

MIDs removal 🤢

Merchant IDs are a nightmare for everyone, including the people that create them! So Fidel has stuck to our ethos of making things simple. We have now removed the burden of MIDs from our users, just submit locations! Nicer for everyone!

Program sync ⚡️

A vital part of card-linking is merchant onboarding and this part of the process is not always clear. Now Fidel is pleased to present changes to our dashboard that give our clients a clear view as to the exact status of all their locations — including delivery dates.

You are probably bored of it by now so I wonʼt mention the term, but Fidel has provided a great way of obtaining consent from your merchants that doesn't involve the printer!

Infrastructure 🚀

With larger scale comes the less pretty stuff, improving our architecture. The devs here at Fidel have been working hard to take the API’s scalability to the next level. As of May, we are now able to handle 2,500,000 transactions simultaneously!

Increased our dev team by 50% 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧
